Unfortunately, Covid-19 is still spreading through Lesotho and South Africa. Thankfully, through the generous gifts of many of our donors in the U.S. and one of our partners, Love Justice International, Beautiful Dream Society received funds to help provide sustenance to orphans, vulnerable people, and those who cannot work during this pandemic.
Many of the people we helped were kids who have no parents and live in child-headed households. We partnered with our local church, Victory Church Lesotho, to distribute the food packages to the most needy in the community.
We were also able to take the generous donations and taught our mothers and trafficking survivors to sew masks from Seshoeshoe fabric. We then distributed those masks inside of hygiene packs to hundreds of vulnerable women and girls who did not have the funds to buy hygiene supplies and face masks to protect them from the virus.
In unprecedented times like this, people are struggling. Below is a list of people of different ages and situations who we’ve had the pleasure of meeting and helping. Their lives have been negatively impacted due to the continued spread of the virus. Please continue to keep them in your thoughts.
