Anti-Trafficking Advocacy

Staying vigilant in every area.

Join the Fight in Raising Awareness

Did you know the nation of Lesotho first drafted a law criminalizing human trafficking in 2011? This is the same year the Beautiful Dream Society opened the first shelter for victims of trafficking in the nation of Lesotho. But just because something is illegal and immoral doesn't mean people understand or are aware of it.

Education is still needed to inform Lesotho citizens of the crime of human trafficking and the law enacted by Parliament to prosecute it.

Why We Advocate

A person's value comes from their Creator and is inherent in being alive. Beautiful Dream Society believes, teaches, and demonstrates that all human beings have equal value and that no one should illegally control another human being for any reason, including race, gender, age, religion, socioeconomic status, or sexual orientation.

One key aspect of combating human trafficking is prevention. But how can we prevent a deceptive crime being perpetrated against the most unsuspecting and vulnerable? This is why we work with community stakeholders to make them aware of this crime, how to spot it, and how to prevent it. By changing the narrative and bringing awareness, we can stop these crimes before they even occur.

How You Can Help

Be Aware of the Issues

While direct intervention may not be possible, educating yourself about the signs of trafficking and the global efforts to combat it can prepare you to act or inform others more effectively.

Spread the Word

Do you know people who want to make a difference but are unsure where to start? Tell your friends and family they can partner with us to make a global impact.

Support our Mission

Whether you're an individual or a company, we have ways for you to support our cause. Every dollar helps us reach more people and strengthen our impact.

Hear Survivor Stories

We can tell you the facts and figures about the people we serve, but you need to hear their stories to truly understand how they have thrived in the most adverse situations. Alongside stories of our children's homes, transit monitoring, and exciting updates from the Beautiful Dream Society, we share about the struggles and victories of those living in our shelter (when safe to do so) so you can hear how you have directly impacted survivors of human trafficking.

Ready to make a difference?

Our team is working diligently to ensure that no person has to be bought or sold. But to continue our work, we need your help.
