You know that no human should be bought or sold, and you have compassion for the vulnerable people in these desolate situations. If you want to impact survivors, protect innocents, and enact generational change for the people of Lesotho, we need your help.
Beautiful Dream Society is a Christian humanitarian organization that strives to lead the Lesotho fight against human trafficking by providing protection, prevention, and prosecution in partnership with stakeholders worldwide.
When you support Beautiful Dream Society, you help us:

Protect
We work with brave souls who have survived the harrowing ordeal of human trafficking, providing trauma-informed care thus helping them rebuild their lives in our shelter and Children's Homes and in their communities and with their families while protecting them from those who would seek to exploit them further.
Prevent
Human traffickers exploit the most vulnerable people, looking for targets who have lost their parents or desperate to earn a living or not old enough to know better. We use multiple methods to pinpoint and prevent trafficking before it happens and educate the public on the signs.
Prosecute
We have advocated since our inception to support change to the laws in Lesotho to prosecute human trafficking effectively, and we have dedicated employees who work with the police to ensure traffickers must answer for their crimes.

Rescued and served over 340 victims of human trafficking and underage sexual assault with shelter, medical care, education, and skills training.
Provided a safe home for 39 vulnerable orphans, ensuring holistic care including psychosocial and spiritual support.
Intercepted over 740 potential trafficking victims in just 3.5 years through our collaborative Transit Monitoring Program.
Who are we?
Beautiful Dream Society creates a world where vulnerable and exploited people are restored and empowered to live beautiful lives. Established in 2010, we are a Christian-focused non-profit organization dedicated to leading the fight against human trafficking in Lesotho. Greetings from Lesotho!! I have been here in Lesotho now for two weeks (along with my husband, Mark, and daughter, Tori), and I am so thrilled to report on the wonderful work I am seeing here! Most of you know that in addition to our Crisis Care Shelter for victims of human trafficking, we began…
Canvas of Beauty
I’ve been a house mom in the Beautiful Dream Society human trafficking shelter for a little over a year. So many memories flow from this experience: memories of joy, pain, and sometimes an overwhelming feeling of not knowing why quiet little me is working there. Each time though, God reminds me that one of the…

“Thirty-One has a mission to celebrate, encourage and reward women, and this is one way I can do that for women who desperately need it.” Ashlie Cravens has supported BDS from the very beginning. The Love House|Education Program – Part III
Continued from The Love House|Education Program – Part II . . . Another success story involves an 8 year old boy. He was malnourished for the first few years of his life and was finally placed into our care once he was nursed back to health and a little older. Although he is 8 years…
The Love House|Education Program – Part II
Continued from The Love House|Education Programl – Part I . . . One girl is 11 years old and when I first began teaching her English almost 4 weeks ago, she was definitely the hardest to communicate with. She seemed shy and unsure of almost everything I said to her in English. Here’s the thing: all…
The Love House|Education Program – Part I
My name is Jayne Cawthon and I am an intern in Lesotho, Africa for the Beautiful Dream Society. I wake up most days in awe of how amazing this opportunity is. I write down every event and detail my mind could possibly remember at the end of the day because taking it all in, down…
GLASS HALF FULL
I’ve heard a lot of reasons why people don’t believe in God. Some like to use the conclusion that God doesn’t exist because there is too much suffering in the world. Too many children starving, too many natural disasters, too many wars and not enough peace. And I would agree that there is too much…
RETROSPECT THAT CRIES
Thoughts I wrote at the airport in Johannesburg without wifi to post it. Enjoy. At the beginning of my trip, Jesus opened my eyes in a new way to the verse about new wineskins for new wine. Africa was new wine for this old skin, and I would need a new one to understand all…
Kaitie Moves to Africa
Lumela! So I know that everyone has been wondering when I was going to write my blog, and I apologize that it has taken me so long to write a new one since being back here. To be completely honest, this is not my favorite thing to do, and I feel like I put a…
