Fashion Mission

“We want to help those in danger.”

Jessica and Tiffany’s decision to launch an online clothing store involved more than putting their stamp on Oklahoma City’s fashion scene; they also wanted to take a stand for justice alongside an Oklahoma non-profit. When they heard a friend talking about Beautiful Dream Society’s efforts to combat human trafficking in Lesotho, Africa, they knew right then they wanted to partner with BDS.

Inner Beauty, Outer Style

InnerOuter fountainIn August of this year, they stepped into their dream and founded InnerOuter Boutique. With a mission to help customers project their inner beauty onto their outer lives through comfortable and fashion-forward clothing, InnerOuter first released a women’s collection. “We want to help and empower women,” they say. “We want to show them they can be successful and happy, along with being in love with their lives, and that no one should have the power to take that away.”

Fighting Human Trafficking in Their Corner of the World

Everyone has a role to play in the movement to end human trafficking by effecting change in their corner of the world. InnerOuter takes this truth to heart! Determined to fight human trafficking with their business, Jessica and Tiffany decided to offer clothing made 11960208_744698375676031_4147173790513481323_nin the U.S.A. America’s labor laws are some of the most stringent and most strictly enforced in the world, so labor trafficking is not prevalent in the U.S. textiles industry. Supporting clothing lines made without slave labor i
s a huge step toward fighting human trafficking!

InnerOuter also contributes to the end of human trafficking by supporting Beautiful Dream Society. For example, at their launch party in August, they dedicated 10% of sales to BDS. In doing so, they help raise awareness of Beautiful Dream Society and fund programs that serve victims of human trafficking in Oklahoma, as well as our preventative childcare and economic development programs in Lesotho.

Saving a Life

“It is important to us because we want to help those in danger,” they explain. “It could be any one of us, and if we help with preventative solutions and other defense practices, we can help save a life.”
