A lesson in nutrition and joy
This month, our life skills program offered a particularly joyful and educational experience—a homemade pizza night about much more than food. Guided by their dedicated house mothers, the children embarked on a culinary adventure that was a fun activity and a valuable nutritional lesson.
The evening buzzed with excitement as the children explored the basics of a nutritious meal. They learned about the ingredients and their health benefits while spreading tomato sauce and sprinkling cheese with their own little hands. Laughter filled the kitchen, and so did the aroma of baking pizzas, turning a simple meal prep into a festivity of learning and bonding.
